Trim Levels of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Jeep has evolved its reputation as a brand from pure utility vehicles to classy in-city navigating SUVs that present big personalities that match their big capabilities.  Most exemplary of this is the remodeled 2019 Cherokee, toting an all new design that's inspired by the luxurious flagship of Jeep's lineup, the Grand Cherokee.  This smaller midsize SUV matches its bigger sibling with just as much efficiency and performance specialization, freely transitioning between urban sprawls and unpaved trails with ease.  Its trims offer an array of heightened interiors, features, and performances, each tailored to suit any individual's needs in luxury and power. Come see what each of these models have to offer!

Starting at $25,240, The Latitude is the first trim you'll encounter in the Cherokee lineup.  It caters to those who purely want reliable features that they'll be guaranteed to use every day, from its Uconnect 4 seven inch touchscreen interface centered on dash equipped with standard Apple and Android wireless smartphone integration and MP3 USB and auxiliary connections to its expansive 25 cu.ft trunk space with clever and discrete underfloor storage.  Every Cherokee also comes with high strength roof rails for any oversized gear. Keeping you free from distraction and your eyes on the roads, the steering wheel comes equipped with audio, phone, and cruise control buttons.  Premium LED lights lead the way via newly remodeled headlight and nose designs. Under the hood, the Latitude is typically equipped with the standard 2.4-liter MultiAir2 four-cylinder engine with both front- and all-wheel drive configured vehicles.  With 180 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque, the Cherokee is EPA rated at 31 mpg highway to cruise up to 490 miles on a single tank of gas! It also has 2,000 pounds of towing capability when properly equipped. Both drivetrains provide you the option of upgrading to the more powerful 271 hp 3.2-liter V6 engine.  239 lb-ft of torque can pull an equal 2,000 pounds when equipped with FWD, or maximize power with AWD to tow up to 4,500 pounds. It preserves efficiency thanks to the carefully engineered variable valve timing, providing you with 29 mpg highway. Every Cherokee no matter powertrain and drivetrain comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Latitude Plus

The Plus supplies drivers with a few more convenience and comfort features for a starting MSRP of $26,985.  Inside, upholstery is upgraded to durable vinyl trimmed seats with a standard leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.  Front seats gain eight-way power adjustments as well! You gain another USB port for fastcharging your electronics, while the Uconnect media center provides you with subscribable SiriusXM radio.  Blind-spot and rear cross-path detection alerts come standard in the Plus, enhancing your driving awareness to keep you safer out on the roads. A dual-panel power panoramic sunroof becomes available, giving you that Jeep-brand open-air experience wherever you go.  New for 2019, you gain the choice of a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder to match efficiency with higher power output. It's 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque comes alongside an equal fuel economy to the standard four-cylinder, while also raising towing capabilities up to 4,000 pounds when equipped with the Trailer Tow Group.

The Limited is the Cherokee's mid-tier trim, blending affordability with some nices touches of luxury at a starting MSRP of $30,750.  Standard heated leather-trim seats are very attractive for anyone who lives in colder climates, along with automatic dual-climate temperature controls for you and your passenger's comfort.  Warming your car up or cooling it down in summer months is as easy as pressing the remote-start button on your key FOB. The infotainment touchscreen is upgraded instead to a 8.4-inch model with HD radio and available navigation.  You also gain a 115V standard household outlet for larger gadget charging, as well as a power liftgate for ease of loading and unloading. If you want to enhance safety, you can opt to include the available LaneSense assistance, Adaptive Cruise Control, automatic parallel and perpendicular parking, and Forward Collision Mitigation thanks to the Cherokee's Technology Group Package.  Your standard engine is dependent on which drivetrain you opt for; with FWD, you keep the 2.4-liter four-cylinder, while the AWD comes standard instead with the 3.2-liter V6. The turbocharged four-cylinder remains optional for both drivetrains.

Exclusively with all-wheel drive, the $33,695 Trailhawk trim is the Trail Rated option of the Cherokee wheelhouse.  The highest power comes standard thanks to the 3.2-liter six-cylinder. While all 4x4 Cherokees come equipped with Jeep's specialized traction control drive modes, the Trailhawk improves the functionality of these tailored settings with specialized 4WD LOW gear mode.  No matter your speed, the Trailhawk will use torque output for the best 56:1 crawl ratio thanks to its mechanical rear axle lock. Drive modes are tailored for driving with Auto, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand, or Trailhawk's exclusive Rock mode. The Trailhawk is built two inches wider with an inch longer wheelbase for improved stability.  Its ground clearance is also raised one inch for a total 8.7-inch high ride, water fording depths up to 19 inches and clearing breakover angles up to 23 degrees! Four skidplates protect your underbody mechanics from scrapes and bumps, with rock rails optional. There's no mistaking the Trailhawk as any other trim thanks to its distinct matte-black glare resistant hood, bright red tow hooks, and shining Trail Rated badges.

Starting at $36,495, the top tier Overland provides you with a lengthy list of standard features and unique looks for an upscale look and drive.  Its exterior comes outfitted with chrome detailing at front fascia, tow hooks, foglight housings, windows, and roof racks while it rides on 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels.  Leather perforated upholstered front seats gain ventilation, while rear seats benefit with heating. The dash, door panels, and center console are also leather wrapped, and real wood accents the steering wheel.  Standard active noise cancellation and sound dampening glass creates a quiet, luxurious ride, perfect to fill your airspace with the music you want via the upgraded Alpine nine-amplified speakers and eight-inch subwoofer.  The 8.4-inch touchscreen comes fully equipped with standard HD radio, navigation, and a five-year SiriusXM subscription. All driver assist features come standard as well, creating the safest Cherokee you'll ride in.
